Book Week Scotland Leith

It starts today! It’s the first national celebration of reading in Scotland and we’re celebrating here in Leith Library with a whole host of exciting events.

We’re be leaving the library too, we’re coming to talk to you!

We’ll be sharing audio, videos and photos of the people of Leith talking about the books they love. We’ll be posting content live to twitter and facebook. We’ll also blog the highlights here.

We’re taking requests too. Where would you like us to go? Leave a suggestion in the comments below or get in touch via twitter or facebook.

MONDAY

6.30pm Leith Library Knitting Group

  • Knit Your Own Scotland Challenge begins

We’re challenging the Leith Library knitting group to knit Loch Ness monsters, highland Cew and Tunnocks teacakes thanks to Black and White Publishing House.
