Snow in Leith Library

There is a yellow warning for snow in Edinburgh. I don’t know about you but yellow snow makes me think of one thing (and it’s not pleasant).

Here in the library we have seven *snow shovels and a little snow already. The snow is made from cotton wool and it’s part of our lovely Christmas book display:

Library advisor Leila created the display. It includes mini Christmas trees and an ice rink. The best thing is, Leila just took off her boots.  Look at the wonderful socks she’s wearing:

Today the Leith Library Christmas tree went up with some help from the boys:

While we’re on the subject of Christmas, Greener Leith reminded us that the Christmas lights switch on tomorrow in Leith from 4pm at the foot of the walk. Read more here.

* The snow shovels are for the Snow Wardens. We’ll blog about them soon!
