There’s a poster exhibition up in the library:
Leith community groups have designed these posters to tell you about their projects. They want you to vote. Every vote counts and the projects with the most votes get funded.
It’s all part of ‘L£ith Decides’. Think X-Factor but more friendly (and less singing).
How does it work?
We caught up with Loraine Duckworth, Partnership Development Officer (the lady behind L£ith Decides) to find out more:
Watch the video on Youtube here.
How do I vote?
Vote here or down the road at Leith McDonald Road Library by filling in a form and posting it into the Leith D£cides Postbox next to the poster exhibition. You have up until 5pm on the 26th February.
You can vote and meet the groups in person at the L£ith Decides Event at Out of the Blue Drill Hall from 1pm to 3pm on Saturday 2nd March. It’s a good place to go to meet people and find out what’s happening in your local community.
You need to live, work or study in Leith to vote and you need to be age 8 or older. Find Leith D£cides online and on Facebook.

Brilliant. Real community action and involvement – more of this right across Scotland!
